Coming Home!

  We were able to come home from the hospital Sunday evening.  Kensi was a trooper! She didn't like the car seat at first but then got used to it and loved the car ride.  She fell right to sleep once we started moving.  At home we were greeted by my parents and ZOEY!

Introducing Zoey to her new sister! Zoey has been very sweet.  She likes to know where Kensi is at all times which is so cute!  She always looks in her swing and then at us to see if we are holding her.   Zoey has gotten a few kisses in (with many more to come I'm sure!)

Aunt Megan drove down Saturday morning at 5am, from Cincinnati, to see her niece!

Kensi can't wait to meet her cousins, Claire and Caitlin, next week and of course Uncle Hans too!

Jolynn brought the crew over to meet their cousin!  The boys were so excited to meet and hold Kensi! They were so sweet and gentle with her, it was so cute.  Aidan even drew Kensi a picture! Saylor could care less about Kensi, but just wait, Saylor and Kensi are going to be inseparable come next year!

Kensi Lucille Rogers

We welcomed our beautiful daughter, Kensi Lucille, on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 9:50pm.  She weighed 8 lbs 13 oz and was 21 inches.  

We are so blessed to have a healthy and happy little girl!

My parents were able to make it just in time to be here for Kensi's birth. Kensi is so lucky to have such loving and wonderful grandparents.

Maternity Pictures

A few weeks ago we had maternity pictures taken by my sweet friend Lori Nichols! She is a great photographer and it was super fun working with her! 

We took these pictures when I was 36 weeks.  Kensi has definitely grown since then :)

We are super excited and anxious to meet our baby girl so soon! I am 39 weeks today and cannot wait to hold Kensi in my arms.  

We will keep you all updated when she arrives! Could be any day, but I'm sure she will be past her due date. Only God and Kensi know when her birthday will be!
