Our Baby is 1 Month Old!

We can't believe that our sweet little angel is already a month old! Time has flown by! She continues to be a great baby! Although, she has definitely become more of a 'baby' and been fussy or crying more often, but she is still AMAZING!

Here are her accomplishments so far: 

She is sleeping between 5-6 hours at night! (which of course we LOVE)

She is eating really well, between 3-3:30 hours apart during the day and she will take a bottle.

She usually goes through two or three outfits a day, due to explosions, but at least we know she is eating and digesting well!

She had grown out of her newborn size outfits and is wearing 3 month size now.  

She can lift her head while doing tummy time and while resting on our chests.  

Kensi hasn't lost any of her hair yet, so we are thinking she will have auburn hair! Her eyes have changed a little bit, but they are still blue.  So time will tell if she keeps her blue eyes like her Daddy.

Kensi meets Auntie Stephy

Last week my best friend and cousin came to meet Kensi! Kensi LOVED her Auntie Stephy!  We went on walks, out to lunch and on many errands.  It was so nice to have someone to go out with me and help me with Kensi.  Stephanie was amazing with Kensi and it was nice to be able to just leave Kensi with her while I got ready or just did my own thing knowing that my sweetheart was in great hands!

Kensi Got to Meet her Cousins!

This past weekend the Wagner's came to visit! Kensi was introduced to her two cousins, Claire and Caitlin.  Claire was super excited to meet Kensi and hold "My Cousin Kensi." Caitlin didn't care much about Kensi, but she was a bit interested in her and we did get some cute pictures!  I can't wait to watch the girls grow up together and become best friends!

It was so special to just relax and hang out with my sister and her family.  Claire and Caitlin are at that fun, active, playful age and it is so nice to be able to watch them grow up.  I can't wait until next summer when all three girls can play together! Megan and Hans are an awesome Aunt and Uncle and Kensi is so blessed to have them in her life! Thank you for visiting, we love you!!!

Gigi, Grampa Jim & Aunt Kelli Visit!

This past weekend Kyle's parents and sister came to meet Kensi!  They got here Saturday morning and left Monday morning. It was a short visit but definitely a good one!  It was fun introducing Kensi to her grandparents and Aunt. We didn't really do much except just hang around the house and 'play' with Kensi.  She is definitely very loved and lucky to have Gigi and Grampa Jim to watch over her and care for her!

Seesha came to visit before she left for Honduras for the week

We were also able to celebrate Easter with the family.  I wasn't comfortable taking little Kensi to church yet, but we did have Easter dinner at the Dupree's.  It was Kensi's first official outing!  (Besides the pediatricians, which doesn't count!) She did very well and didn't fuss much.  It was a bit loud for her, but I think she took it all in like a champ!
