Kensi's First Showers

Chris and Sue threw Amber and me an amazing dinner shower at Chris' home on December 17th.  It was very special for us all to get together and celebrate Baby Kensi and Baby Ava!

The amazing ladies at Brookstone threw Amber and me a shower at the club on December 18th.  It was such a great time to socialize with the ladies!  Kensi and I are very lucky to have women in our lives like these ladies! Thank you to all of you who had a part in the planning and those that attended!

Welcome wreath!

Christmas 2012

I was extremely lucky to have my best friend and cousin visit us this holiday season! Stephanie was here for a long and busy weekend!  We had three different Christmas parties going on, two to attend and one to throw.  And of course we were able to squeeze in some shopping too!
I am incredibly blessed to have such an amazing best friend to call my cousin.  She is my go to gal!
I love you Steph!

My girlfriends have an annual Christmas Party thrown by the best hostess ever, Mrs. Jolynn Dupree!
It was great introducing Steph to my Georgia friends.

Bowling at Kyle's work Christmas Party! Stephanie bowled a TURKEY!!

Kyle and I have thrown a Christmas dinner for our close Georgia friends the past two years. Luckily this year, Stephanie was here to help me cook! She is an awesome little Betty Crocker!
Thanks for all your help Steph!!!

Other Christmas Festivities this Season:

At Cynthia and Mark's Amazing Dessert Party!

Four Point's Ladies Christmas Gift Exchange
(with great friends, Erin, Jolynn and Lauren)

This Christmas was a bit different for us.  It was our first without either of our parents or siblings.  We knew this day would come, but it was definitely hard to be away from them on actual Christmas.  We are super blessed to have family in Georgia that have taken us under their wing and included us in their family traditions!

On Christmas Eve we had dinner and Christmas with the Hayes.  It was super special to be there to watch Aidan, Roman and Saylor open their gifts! The boys are at the age where they know what Christmas is all about! They were amazingly really patient waiting for their turns to open presents from Nana and Pappy.  I can only hope that Kensi and her siblings will be as good as them!

My amazing husband and me - our last Christmas just the two of us...EVER!

Kyle rummaging through our gifts on Christmas Eve - what a sneak!!!

 Christmas morning!!!

Kensi's loot -  she is a very special girl to get so much before she is even born!
(and I can only imagine what Gamma and Gampa Marks and her Aunt, Uncle and cousins go her too! (we haven't exchanged yet) )

Kyle's new favorite piece of clothing - GO BUCKS!

My favorite gift of the season - a new ornament from my cousin, Amy.

Kyle and I have truly been blessed this year! Looking back at 2012, we have had the greatest joy of our lives so far, the realization that we are bringing life to the world and it will be our darling daughter.  The Christmas season is a special time to remember that Jesus was brought to the world as a sweet baby to save us all from our sin.  He is our King.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas season and a Happy New Year!

Belly Pics

Kensi and I are very healthy! I had an appointment this morning and the doctor was very happy.  I have been feeling pretty good, just getting tired a lot more often.  But everything is normal! She is measuring at 27-28 weeks and we are keeping the due date at March 23rd. I will share more pictures as the weeks progress.

25 weeks - only 15 more to go!

27 weeks 3 days

We are starting to really think about Kensi's nursery and how to decorate! Kyle is actually excited to paint and 'help' make decisions on the decor and colors.  We are getting super eager to meet our little girl!! Only 12 more weeks to go!

GENDER REVEALING PARTY!

Two of our favorite people, Josh and Jolynn, offered to throw us a Gender Revealing Party! (And as most of you know, there is no turning Jolynn down ;) )So we decided the best time to have this party was around Thanksgiving so our parents would be here to celebrate with us.  Kyle and I had our 20 weeks ultrasound a week later, but still had to hold in a secret for 10 days!  We knew we were having a  beautiful little angel but couldn't tell anyone!  We held it in (well I think we did at least) and told our family and close GA friends at our Baby's Gender Revealing party!

We decided to wear both pink and blue so no one would suspect either way

Mustache or Bow?

The host and hostess!

My great friend, Brittany, who is due the day after me! Automatic baby best friends!

The Hayes girls!

My dad and mom - seriously the biggest troopers EVER! Dad had hip replacement surgery just 7 days prior to driving down to GA! We weren't sure if he was going to make it, but he sure knew! He never had a doubt he would miss his third grandbaby's party!
They wore sweatshirt because they had a surprise underneath....

Meg, Hans and the girls couldn't make it for the party in person BUT facetime worked great!  They were able to be part of the party and of course the reveal!!

My parents wrote this sweet amazing poem for our baby....

and their vote was a BUCKEYE BABY!

BLUE Team!

PINK Team
(including all four Wagners! Claire said we were having a girl from the start! Guess she really wanted another playmate for her and Cait!)

The final votes for blue versus pink - very close!

WE'RE HAVING A SWEET BABY GIRL!

Rogers clan!

Marks Clan
(I see smiling Megan, Hans and Claire too!)

Such a cutie!

The most amazing hostess EVER!

Our party was truly amazing! We have such great friends and family! We are so lucky and blessed to be surrounded by such love.  Both of us cannot wait to bring our little girl into our world and her to have the same love and support that we do!
Thank you Jolynn and Josh for an amazing party! We love you and your family so much!
