1 year pictures

 Last weekend we had Kensi's 1 year old pictures taken.  A friend of ours, Victoria Schneider with The Southern Trunk took them and we LOVE them! I am overloading this post with pictures, because I couldn't just pick a few that I love so decided to share pretty much every one on the disk! We are waiting to get a few more family shots from Victoria, so I will post those soon.  We also had some pictures taken in her birthday outfit, but I'm saving those to post on her birthday!

Kyle's old trike - she loved it!

Kensi says one word....ut ohhhhhh.  It is so cute, and she actually says it in the correct context.  I'm sure I say it a lot so she's caught on. Kensi is very talkative and always doing/saying funny things.  She smiles and cheeses at everything.  She has also figured out how to furrow her brow and make the funniest faces! Just today at lunch, as she as eating, I kissed her forehead and as I'm kissing her she rolls her eye up and furrow her brow in question. She is so funny! She is a walking and running machine! Kyle will chase her around the house and she squeals and runs away from him. It is the most precious thing to see them playing together. She has also figured out how to give hugs! Kensi is so easy going, so smiles and will go to almost anyone. It make it taking her to sitter or going to the nursery at church so much easier and comforting for us.

11 month pictures

So Kensi is now VERY hard to get a picture of. Especially when what I really want is for her to just sit down and smile haha

But we got some pretty cute ones of her running around talking and being her crazy self. 

She was completely done when we tried to get a picture of her with her 11 month patch - oh well

She's so adorable!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day from our little family to yours! We hoped you all had a wonderful day full of love and happiness. Kensi got valentine's day gifts from both her grandparents, she is soo lucky! And Daddy spoiled Kensi and me for Valentine's Day too!

So happy about the card and balloon Daddy got her! As soon as she saw the balloon, she got really excited and started waving her little arms - so funny!

After about 20 takes, this was the best one we got.  She's so busy and always moving! We were lucky to get her to stay seated for even a few seconds

Kyle wanted to bring back some childhood memories, so we built a snowman on our snowday!

Last Thursday Kensi took her first few steps! She would take like one and then fall and just crawl, but then over the weekend she ended up going a few more and then just took off! We finally got a few good videos of her walking - it did take us numerous shots to get a good one, but we finally got two so we wanted to share :)
