Kensi is 1/2 a year old!

Kensi turned 6 months old on Sunday, September 22nd!

Our 6 month old is very expressive - she had numerous faces that she make all the time!
Such a fun and crazy personality already :)

Cute onsie painted by Sarah Mayborg! Love the sunflowers!

Kensi's accomplishments in her 6 months of life;
-She drinks 8-9oz of milk per feeding - 4 times a day
-She eats cereal or baby food in the evenings before her night time feeding - her favorite foods so are are sweet potatoes and bananas
-She loves to play with her toys on the floor, bounce in her excersaucer and especially enjoys playing with her calculator
-Sits up very well
-Scoots backwards while on her knees and elbows.
-Laughs all the time - enjoys being tickled
-Likes to 'talk' all the time
-Loves to watch and reach for Zoey (Zoey loves to get in kisses too!)
-Continues to love bathtime
-Has had three ear infections :(
-Cutest 6 month old EVER!

possible smile?

The girls are best friends - Zoey always wants to be close to Kensi (and give her kisses!) and Kensi cannot stop watching where Zoey is at all times! Kensi gets very excited when Zoey comes up to her; she flaps her arms and always has a big grin on her face.  It's so cute!

First time really interacting with Zeke! They both seem to love each other

She has her 6 month doctor appointment on October 4th. I am looking forward to hearing what percentile she is in since she is one cute little chunky baby! She probably weights around 21 lbs, but we won't know for sure until the 4th.
Time is just flying by with our little munchkin! She is growing up so fast and going through so many changes.  She is definitely keeping us on our toes and we are excited about the changes to come in the near future too! We are hoping she waits a month (fingers crossed) to begin really crawling!! But we will see - we are starting to slowly baby proof the house already.

Gramma and Grampa Marks are visiting this weekend. Kensi is getting dedicated this Sunday at church and we couldn't be happier to have some of her grandparents in town. We only wish the rest of our family could be here for this special occasion too. We will miss you Gigi, Grampa Jim, Aunt Kelli, Aunt Megan, Uncle Hans, Claire and Caitlin.

We are super blessed to have such a beautiful and healthy baby girl to shower our love on. We are looking forward to the many days, months and years to come!
